United by a desire to overcome their personal misfortunes, seven very different women formed an indelible bond and vowed to right wrongs wherever they found them. They've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. After years known as the Vigilantes, Myra, Annie, Kathryn, Alexis, Yoko, Nikki, and Isabelle are enjoying their hard-won freedom and the chance at a normal life.
As it turns out, though, once you're a part of the Sisterhood, normal is a relative term. President Martine Connor, their long-time ally, has announced the formation of a top-secret organization. Officially, the CIC won't exist. Unofficially, they'll report directly to the president and tackle the jobs no one else can handle. For the Sisterhood, it's the end of an era - and the beginning of a whole new adventure....

Well, Ms. Michaels, sorry to say again, this book fizzled for me. BORING! The beginning of the series was great, but I don’t know what happened. If I remember correctly, in one of the earlier books, Maggie said that she had an amazing sex encounter with Amber Tookus, & in the later book, she denied sleeping with him. In addition, she claimed that Abner Tookus wasn’t his real name. Also, in this book, Espinosa’s name was written as Esposito a couple of times. Your proof readers need to be more careful with detais. You’re making beau coup bucks. Need to give the readers more bang for our bucks.

Maggie finds her true love when the President invites ker to Camp David for Thanksgiving. There is another mission, but no one knows who they are after. They will figure it out
I read the entire series of "Sisterhood" books because I liked the theme. I will say...I found some of them to be a bit over the edge when it came to violence, but not enough to make me stop reading them. I did appreciate the fact that this last book in the series was gentler than the rest in the retribution that was doled out. I liked the way Ms. Michaels wrapped it up for us, giving us just enough info to see into the future of those involved!
As usual a very good book. Moved a little slow at times but a good book nonetheless. I like the fact that the sisters are getting on with their lives but will miss them. I recommend this whole series of books to all.
Hard to read. Not the usual fast moving exciting read. Slow progression almost like it was a filler book and the stupid ghost crap through the epilog? No
Fern Michaels, you have done it again ! Great read ! I need something that really keeps my attention & the Sisterhood does just
that ! Thanks so much & please do not ever end this series !!! I can NOT wait for the first book to come out next month (September) with the MEN of the Sisterhood starting their team up !!! I'm ready for that too !!! Thanks again , Bonnie
Seasons of our lives change and so it has been with this series. The characters are like aquaintances who allow me to come into their world from time to time and catch up on their lives and friends and then leave again.
Thank you, Fern Michaels for bringing the series to a "life goes on, relationships change, and people grow and mature" end and yet giving us hope that these colorful characters might not have entirely left us.
There are so many untold and hinted stories within the pages of the twenty books and a door left slightly ajar at the end, that I can only hope to see Ms. Michaels continue with the series with the "girls and guys" playing a supporting role.
A most satisfying read. Entertaining, poignant, good triumphs over evil again thanks to the vigilantes.
I have read all of the Sisterhood series and enjoyed each and every one. They don't require any concentration and that's why I enjoy them, some light relief from my usual genre of thrillers, crime and study.
The Sisters now have their pardons and with the exception of Myra and Annie they have all moved forward creating individual lives of their own. However, they will always be 'The Sisterhood' and have now been presented with gold shields by the President and with those comes the request for one last job and of course they accept. Somewhere within the Alphabet Soup of Washington a dark agency exists that has a never ending supply of funds, or at least they did! Money has gone missing and The Sisters are charged with finding out the who and the where. In the end the job turns out to be all too easy and even the girls are a little disappointed at just how easy it is to get the birds to sing.
The job comes to a conclusion, the young Sisters go back to their now busy lives full of normal day to day things and babies. Is this the end of The Sisterhood??? I think not, just the names and faces will change.
Fern Michaels, thank you for this wonderful series and I'm looking forward to the next, modified series of The Sisterhood.....
